Before the games began, the camp facilitators gave a motivational talk that saw the active participation of the students, as it encouraged two-way communication. This was coupled with activities that stimulated the minds, creativity and teamwork amongst the students.

When the games took off, the students were very excited. The first challenge revolved around clues that led each group of students to their final destinations. One clue led to another, and each one of them required mental and physical strength - not forgetting a lot of teamwork! One of the tasks involved digging a sandpit in search of the next hidden clue, which brought them to their final destination – the Spider Web. This challenge is one that required a lot of judgment, as it contained a series of wires that the students needed to go through without touching any of them. This challenge was most intense that some even needed their friends to carry them through! Nevertheless, the students have learnt a positive experience – one that has taught them the confidence to achieve their goals.
